The Montreal International Venture Forum (MIVF) is a unifying event for all actors of the innovation and venture capital investment scenes.
This is a unique and privileged opportunity to meet over 100 investors, including:
-Angels Investors (Boston Harbour Angels, Golden Triangle AngelNet…)
-Development Funds (iNovia Capital, Sofinnova Partners …)
-Funds of funds (Teralys Capital, HarbourVest Partners …)
-and many Venture Capital managersfrom Boston, California, Ontario, Quebec and Europe. These investors will be gathered at the École de Technologie Supérieure to explore co-investment occasions and to evaluate new investment opportunities in start-ups.
The MIVF (March 29-30) is the international component of Capital Innovation’s program. The Forum is also supported by three events outside of Quebec: Toronto in February 2012, Boston in June 2012 and in Paris in the fall of 2012.
Industry leaders will present the current trends in the investment market and share their experience on investment strategies, international issues and best practices. You will have a chance to ask questions at the end of their presentations and exchange with them at networking breaks or in available private rooms.
