Taleo and Gemin-X, two of the most successful investment exits in Quebec

Taleo and Gemin-X : two of the most successful investment exits in venture capital in Quebec will be presented at the first International Venture Forum of Montreal on March 29 and 30.

Taleo, sold to Oracle in 2012 for 1,9 billion $ and Gemin-X sold to Cephalon in 2011 for an amount evaluated between 225 M$ US and 525 M$ US – two businesses, two entrepreneurial success in Quebec financed with venture capital, in IT and medical devices.

Come and meet with the entrepreneurs and investors that were at the origin of those successes that put Quebec on the international stage for innovative entrepreneurs.

To open the Forum, Mr. Louis Tetu, founder of Taleo, as well as Mr. Robert Talbot, one of the first investors in Taleo (through Telsoft / Telesystem) will be presenting this success through an interview by Mr. Chris Arsenault, Managing Partner at iNovia Capital and one of Quebec’s leading venture capitalist for more than 10 years.

The following day, March 30, we will be honoured to receive Mr. Michael Dixon who was the CFO of Gemin X for more than 10 years, as well as Mr. Peter Williams, Managing Director of Sanderling Ventures, a fund based in San Diego who realized a major transaction with Gemin X, a company based out of McGill University.
